How does the revised version of our class differ from the first version?
There were a lot of differences between our revised version of our class compared with the first version. First off all, the biggest change was having everything graded at the end of the semester. The new lesson plan was a big thing. You completely changed the topics that we went over. I like the fact that you changed the topics around, but you should have made us speak up more. I don’t think we knew what was exactly going on at that time. I think we were all still confused about the class change and we were not actually focused on the fact that we had to choose something to write about.

Which one do you prefer? Why?
First of all, both of the lesson plans had there positive and negatives but I most defiantly preferred the revised class. It gave us a lot more freedom. It actually made me feel like I was in college. It is up to us as students to get things done on time. I actually felt responsible for once in college. All of my teachers in high school told me that college was going to be a lot different, but coming here I realized that it isn’t that much different. A lot of teachers still accept the same lies. Having the lesson plan this way, students have no excuse; we are handing everything in at the end. It is our own fault if we don’t pass.

What could be changed next time? Why?
I personally didn’t like the fact that we completely don’t know are grade. It puts a lot of stress on us as students. I know that it is our own responsibility to get things done, but it is hard to know how to improve if you don’t know how you did on the previous essays. Yes, you did hand us back our fist in class essay, but it would have been better if you handed it back a lot sooner. By you showing us that, I was able to see how you graded and how I was somewhat doing in the class. If you were to do this lesson plan next year I would most defiantly give that essay back a lot sooner. It is a good way to give you students a heads up as to how they are doing.

What did you like/dislike about the Clark 111 classroom itself?
I really enjoyed working in Clark 111. It was a great experience. I have never been able to use a computer in a class before. Most of the time, the teachers don’t trust the students. It would have been better if we could have used the big computers more. Overall, I really like working in the Clark class room and there was nothing that I disliked about it; it is a great resource.
